2 Best Wildlife Getaways from Delhi

All National Parks in India reopen from October. Today lets discuss about the two best wildlife getaways you must take from Delhi.

First one is our favourite Jim Corbett National Park. Located in Uttarakhand, it is India’s oldest national park that was established in 1936. The Park is at a distance of 250 Km that is comfortable 06 hours drive from Delhi. It is known for dense forests, amazing wildlife, pristine nature and incredible landscapes. On a trip to Corbett the wildlife you could spot are Elephants, Deer, Sambhar, Jackal, crocodile, Langur, tiger, leopard, sloth bear, wild boar and many species of birds.

The best location I recommend to stay in JC is Dhikuli village that is near Kosi river. You can always walk up to riverside and enjoy swimming, dinning, fishing or just relax and enjoy the river views.

The best & affordable resorts I recommend are Tiger Camp, Namah Resort, The Riverview Retreat, Infinity Resort and, Corbett Riverside By Aahma.

The best zone for Jeep Safari is Dhikala or Bijrani. This is where you have the best chances to see Tigers.

Second one is Ranthambore National Park that is located in Rajasthan at a distance of 400 Km from Delhi. It is approx 8 hours drive. The Park was once the hunting ground of Mahrajas and today is known for its high density of tiger population. The wildlife you can spot are Deer, Sambhar, Langur, Jungle cat, crocodile, hyena, python, tiger, leopard and many species of birds.

The best location to stay in Ranthambore is close to Park entry gate that is near Ranthambore Fort The best zone for Safari is Zone 1 – 5. This is where you have the best chances to see Tigers

The best and affordable Resorts that I recommend are Ranthambore Regency, The Shergarh Resort, Anuraga Palace Resort and The Fern Ranthambore Forest Resort
