Day 01: Delhi

Arrive at Delhi and transfer to your Hotel

Day 02: Delhi (B)

Today enjoy full day sightseeing of Delhi. we first start with Old Delhi where we will visit Jama Mosque, a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk and drive past Red Fort. Later visit Raj Ghat to pay homage to Father of the Indian Nation – Mahatma Gandhi.

In the afternoon, we proceed on a tour of New Delhi visiting the Connaught Place, Qutub Minar and Humayun’s tomb, also known as the forerunner to the Taj Mahal.

Day 03: Delhi – Jaipur (B)

This morning drive Jaipur. On arrival, please check-in to your Hotel

Day 04: Jaipur (B)

This morning we will visit Amber Fort. Perched on a hill 11 Km from Jaipur and nestling among the Aravali Hills is the historic fort-palace.

Afternoon set out on a half day city tour visiting Hawa Mahal (photo-stop), the Observatory-Jantar Mantar and City Palace.

Day 05: Jaipur – Agra (B)

This morning drive to Agra via visiting Fatehpur Sikri, the mysterious ghost city founded by the Mughal Emperor Akbar the Great in the late 16th century and capital of the Mughal Empire from 1581 to 1595.

Thereafter we continue our drive to Agra.

This afternoon, visit the famous wonder Taj Mahal. We walk into the inner chambers of this renowned Monument to Love and seek out several vantage points to see the magnificent play of light. It is truly worthy of its status as one of the world wonders.

Later, visit the sprawling Agra Fort on the bank of the Yamuna River.

Day 06: Agra – Jhansi – Khajuraho (B) 

This early morning transfer to the railway station to board the train for Jhansi.

On arrival, drive to Orchha, a medieval village where time has stopped. Orchha is a city founded by Bundela rulers with palaces and temples of the 16th and 17th centuries which have remarkably withstood the onslaught of time. The river Betwa picturesquely flanks the city. Reach Orchha and see the beautiful Palace Complex – Jahangir Mahal and the Raja Mahal. After lunch (own expenses) resume drive to Khajuraho.

Day 07: Khajuraho – Varanasi (B) 

After breakfast proceed to visit temples built during the 9th to the 11th centuries by the powerful dynasty of Chandela Rajputs. The temples with their erotic sculptures are a feast to the eyes. Visit the eastern and western group of temples. After sightseeing, return to the hotel and check-out.

Transfer to the airport to board the flight for Varanasi, the world’s most ancient city and the home of Hinduism.

In the evening witness the Aarti ceremony on the Ganges. As the day comes to a close, we’ll ride by rickshaw through the bustling streets to the bathing ghats located alongside the sacred River Ganges. People flock in large numbers every day to bathe and worship in the temples built beside the riverbank. Feel the timelessness of Varanasi as the sun sets and as the temple priests perform aarti, the sacred light ceremony, on the banks of Mother Ganga

Day 08: Varanasi (B)

Early morning we take you to the banks of river Ganges where we board a boat to see the morning ablutions of the Hindus from the safety of our boat. The “boat ride” will also give you a spectacular view of a sunrise on the River Ganges. Return to the hotel for breakfast.

Late morning, enjoy the city tour; we visit the largest and oldest university in north India – Benaras Hindu University. The temple “Bharat Mata Temple” is dedicated to Mother India. It was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi in 1936 so that the citizens could respect Mother India in statue form sculpted in marble.

In the afternoon you will be taken for the visit of Sarnath. At the ancient Buddhist learning center of Sarnath, where Gautam Buddha preached his first sermon to his disciples as portrayed in Bernardo Bertolucci’s film “Little Buddha.”

Day 09: Varanasi – Delhi (B)

Today you will be transferred to Varanasi Airport for your flight to Delhi

Rest of the day is at leisure

Day 10: Delhi (B)

Today transfer to Delhi Airport for your onward flight
