Day 01: Kathmandu (D)

Arrive in Kathmandu by flight

Welcome to Nepal – Once is not enough!

On your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport; after completing Immigration and Custom formalities, you will collect your luggage and proceed to Arrival Hall where you will meet our representative who will transfer you to Hotel

Your accommodation in Kathmandu is for 02 nights in Crowne Plaza Kathmandu Soaltee Hotel (Executive Room) including breakfast

Evening; visit Thamel (main tourist Hub of Kathmandu) with rickshaw ride for approx. 20 minutes. Thamel is one of the main touristic hub in Kathmandu and bustles with activities late into the night. It is almost centrally located yet completely different from the rest of the city. All the tourist needs can be found here such as scores of hotels, rows of restaurants and bars, book shops, souvenir shops, cyber cafes etc.

Then you will be taken for a Nepalese cultural dance show with welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 02: Kathmandu (B)

Today enjoy full day sightseeing of Kathmandu. In the morning you will visit UNESCO heritage sites of Boudhanath and Swayambhunath.

Boudhanath: This stupa, eight kilometers east of Kathmandu City is one of the biggest in the world of its kind and one of the most imposing landmarks in Kathmandu. It stands with four pairs of eyes in the four cardinal direction keeping watch for righteous behavior and human prosperity. This Buddhist stupa was built by King Man Dev at the advice of Goddess Mani Jjogini. It is built on an octagonal base inset with prayer wheels. The shrine is ringed by houses of Lamas or Buddhist priests. This is also the center of Tibetan Buddhism.

Swayambhunath Stupa: Swayam in Sanskrit mean self, hence Swyambhunath mean “Self-Created One”. The Tibetan name for Swoyambhunath means ‘Sublime Trees’. It was built over 2,500 years ago. It is also known as monkey temple as there are holy monkeys living in part of the temple. An excellent view of Kathmandu valley can be observed from this UNESCO World heritage cultural site. This Buddhist Stupa holds a special position both among the Buddhists & Hindus. Swoyambhunath is perhaps the best place to observe the religious harmony in Nepal.

In the afternoon visit Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur, literally translates to place of devotees and also known as Khwopa. It is an ancient Newa city in the east corner of the Kathmandu valley. Bhaktapur is another Newar city founded in the 9th century. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is located in the center of Bhaktapur. The Square is one of the most charming architectural showpieces of the Valley as it highlights some of the finest medieval arts of Nepal. The main items of interest in Bhaktapur Durbar Square are the Lion Gate, the Golden Gate and the statues of kings on stone monoliths.

You will also see the sky-high rooftop of the Nyatapola Temple long before you reach Taumadhi Tole. With five storeys towering 30m above the square, this is the tallest temple in all of Nepal and one of the tallest buildings in the Kathmandu Valley. This perfectly proportioned temple was built in 1702 during the reign of King Bhupatindra Malla, and the construction was so sturdy that the 1934 and 2015 earthquakes caused only minor damage.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Pokhara (B)

This morning we drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 900 m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley. The enchanting town has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambience of peace and magic.

In the evening enjoy walking along the banks of Phewa Lake and admire its stunning beauty.

Day 04: Pokhara (B)

Early morning visit Sarangkot to view sunrise (subject to weather permit).

Sarangkot: It offers the breath taking panoramic views of the Annapurna Mountain Range. Situated very close to Pokhara town, it is a semi-developed village located on a hilltop. One has to leave early in the morning while it is still dark to catch the sunrise. Later in the day the clouds gather around the mountains. It has great views in all directions. Pokhara and Phewa lake are to the south. The grand Annapurna panorama is to the north and rolling hills to the east. To the west is a distant view of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167 m).

Return hotel visiting Bindebasini temple en-route.

Bindebashini Temple: This is one of the oldest temples in Pokhara. Legend says that when Pokhara was a part of Kaski Kingdom, the main deity of the temple, Goddess Durga, was brought from India. Apart from the peace and tranquility that can be felt in this region, the premises of the temple offers a good view of the Himalaya on a clear day. The temple is in the area of the Bazaar; hence, a journey of the old bazaar can be combined with a visit to the temple.

Later boat ride on Phewa Lake.

The Fewa (or Phewa) Lake 1.5 kilometer long, second largest lake in Nepal, offers an excellent view of the mountains and their reflections on the lake. Many tours and trekking operators and hotels are located on the lakeside. One can easily find a place to sit back, relax and enjoy great meal while enjoying scenery here. You will also enjoy 01 hrs boating on the lake. Most hotels and guest houses have traditional designs and layouts which match with the surrounding views.

Cross the lake by boat. After crossing commence uphill walk through stairs towards Stupa for approx. 1.5 hrs.

World Peace Pagoda (Stupa): The pagoda is a massive Buddhist stupa and is situated on top of a hill on the southern shore of Phewa lake. Besides being an impressive sight in itself, the shrine is a great vantage point which offers spectacular views of the Annapurna range and Pokhara city. You can get there by crossing the lake by boat and then hiking up the hill.

After having tea a local tea stall walk down to vehicle waiting point and transfer to Davis Fall and also visit Gupteshwor Cave and Old bazar.

Davis fall’s: Witness a unique waterfall that lies 2 Km from central Pokhara City. The water fall directly goes into a deep and narrow canal with no ends. It is believed that this deadly waterfall took the life of a tourist named David, who fell down into the cannel and was never found, and hence the name David waterfall, named in his memory by the people of Pokhara. This place has many nick names like Davy’s fall, David’s fall or Davis’s fall, all mean the same thing `The Davis Water Fall’.

Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave is probably the longest and attractive cave in south Asia which is located at the pristine location of northwestern part of Pokhara, a world famous tourist destination in Gandaki zone and Kaski district.Ancestors called this place as desolate Khatri Tara. At that time water steam used to come out from this place and some courageous youngsters used to go inside and catch fishes. In 1970, 1980 and 1982 a British Expedition Organization named British course Research Cave Expedition expatiated this cave and published about it in The Atlas Great Cave of the World. This cave was formally established in 1994-01-01, which is a religious and touristic destination and called as Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave.

Evening walk around lakes side on your own.

Day 05: Pokhara – Chitwan (B, L, D)

After breakfast, drive to Chitwan for 4 and half hours – 150 km.

Upon arrival check-in at resort followed by lunch. Later enjoy activities at Resort

The Royal Chitwan National park, the lush Valley of Chitwan situated in the foothills of Churia ranges, is 75 airmails South West of Kathmandu, houses the first National Park of the Kingdom. The Royal Chitwan National Park is famous for its variety of Wildlife especially the Great Indian One horned Rhinoceros and the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. It is a truly wildlife adventure of a different kind-jungle safaris in Jeep, bird watching, canoe rides and jungle walks. The park is situated inner Terai (low lands and consists of Sal forest, tall elephant grassland, hills, flood plains of the Narayani, Rapti and Reu rivers. It was enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage site (Natural) in 1984 and covers an area of 932 sq. km. It is home to 56 species of mammals, 49 species of amphibians and reptiles, and 525 species of birds.

Upon arrival check-in at your Resort followed by lunch. Later enjoy activities at Resort.

In the evening enjoy dinner at your Resort

Day 06: Chitwan (B, L, D)

Enjoy full day activities and all main meals.

Activities include: Canoe ride, Elephant briefing session, nature walk, village tour on Ox cart, Jeep drive and local ethnic cultural dance.

We shall provide local school visit in Chitwan (Schools are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public holidays as per Govt. holiday listing)

Day 07: Chitwan – Kathmandu (B, D)

Wake up call with hot Coffee/tea. After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu.

Rest of the afternoon is free to explore and shop on your own

In the evening you will be taken for farewell dinner at Mulchowk restaurant

Day 8: Kathmandu (B)

Today, transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight
