Day 01: Delhi (D)
Arrive in Delhi by flight
Welcome to Incredible India!
On your arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport; after completing Immigration and Custom formalities, you will collect your luggage and proceed to Arrival Hall where you will meet our representative who will transfer you to Hotel
Your accommodation in Delhi is for 02 nights in The Lalit Hotel (Deluxe Room) including breakfast
In the evening you will be taken for welcome dinner at a local Indian restaurant in Delhi
Day 02: Delhi (B)
Today enjoy full day sightseeing of Delhi. We first start with Old Delhi that will include a visit to the Jama Mosque (1650) and drive through the fabled area of Chandni Chowk. You will also enjoy a short rickshaw ride through busy and narrow lanes of Old Delhi which will be an adventure in itself. Then we drive past the Red Fort (1639-1648) built by Shahjehan, the builder of the Taj Mahal in Agra. Later visit Raj Ghat to pay homage to Father of the Indian Nation – Mahatma Gandhi.
In the afternoon, we proceed on a tour of New Delhi visiting the Connaught Place – shopping paradise in Delhi, Qutub Minar – the tallest minaret in India and Humayun’s Tomb – also known as the forerunner to the Taj Mahal.
Day 03: Delhi – Rishikesh (B)
This morning we drive from Delhi to Rishikesh, the yoga capital of the world. On arrival, please check in at your Hotel
Your accommodation in Rishikesh is for 02 nights in Hotel including breakfast
This evening you will visit Triveni Ghat: Triveni Ghat is a sacred ghat in Rishikesh famous for the River Ganga Aarti. Triveni words comes from join of two words Tri (three) and Veni (confluence) meaning confluence of three. It is one of the biggest and must visit ghat of Rishikesh known for its auspicious and spiritual aroma.
Day 04: Rishikesh (B)
Today get ready for an amazing sightseeing of the holy city, you will explore
Laxman Julha: It is an iron suspension bridge over the holy river Ganga Rishikesh. It is a famous landmark place in Rishikesh that is of 450 feet length connecting Pauri district with Tehri district. Laxman Jhula also offers panoramic view of River Ganga and Rishikesh city having number of temples.
We will also visit Ram Jhula and Janki Bridge from where you will see breathtaking views of the whole riverside town.
Then we will enjoy a walking tour on the famous Astha Path to fall in love with holy River Ganga.
You will get explore some of the famous riverside Cafes in Rishikesh.
Later you will visit Beatles Ashram: In the suburban alleys of Rishikesh, there is an erstwhile ashram of late Guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi also known as the Beatles Ashram where the Fab-four attended a session of transcendental meditation. It was here that the English rock band composed over 50 songs during their stay in 1968.
Then finish the day with visit to Parmarth Niketan Ashram from where you can enjoy another spectacular evening Aarti on the banks of holy Ganges.
Day 05: Rishikesh – Delhi (B)
This morning we drive from Rishikesh to Delhi. On arrival, please check in at your Hotel and relax.
Day 06: Delhi – Agra (B)
This morning, embark on your drive to Agra, the city of the world famous Taj Mahal.
This afternoon, visit the famous wonder Taj Mahal. We walk into the inner chambers of this renowned Monument to Love and seek out several vantage points to see the magnificent play of light. It is truly worthy of its status as one of the world wonders.
Later, visit the sprawling Agra Fort on the bank of Yamuna River.
Day 07: Agra – Jaipur (B)
This morning we drive to Pink city of Jaipur via visiting Fatehpur Sikri & Chand Baori step well.
Fatehpur Sikri, the magnificent fortified ancient city, 40 km west of Agra, was the short-lived capital of the Mughal Empire between 1572 and 1585, during the reign of Emperor Akbar. Today it is a famous UNESCO World heritage site of India. The complex of monuments and temples, all in a uniform architectural style, includes one of the largest mosques in India, the Jama Masjid.
Chand Baori in Abhaneri village of Rajasthan is the most photogenic step well of India. Chand Baori is the oldest surviving step well in Rajasthan and probably India. When you stand next to this 13 story deep step well with symmetric triangular steps leading to the water at the bottom, you are truly mesmerized. You, of course, understand that in the desert of Rajasthan, it is a practical water management solution.
Thereafter we continue our drive to Jaipur.
Day 08: Jaipur (B)
This morning we will visit Amber Fort. Perched on a hill 11 Km from Jaipur and nestling among the Aravali Hills is the historic fort-palace.
Afternoon set out on a half day city tour visiting Hawa Mahal (photo-stop), the Observatory-Jantar Mantar and City Palace.
Rest of the day is free to explore markets on your own. There is a timeless appeal to Jaipur’s colorful bazaars where one can shop for Rajasthani handicrafts, handlooms and trinkets.
Day 09: Jaipur – Delhi (B)
Today, at an appointed time, you will be collected from your Hotel and transferred to Delhi. On arrival, please check-in at your Airport Hotel
Day 10: Delhi (B)
Today transfer to Delhi Airport to connect your onward flight.
